Text Box: Mission Statement With Safety as our most important focus, the goal of LevPro Systems, Inc., is to eliminate the human error in load placement; thus eliminating Statically Indeterminate Structures. Each time there are more than two hoists on a beam or more than three hoists in a structure, the phenomenon known as Statically Indeterminate Structure will occur, which results in unpredictable load distribution. This will cause load imbalance, where some of the chain motor hoists may reach overload while others carry only a small part of the load. A visually balanced structure is prone to have imbalanced load distribution, and some of the chain hoists become overloaded. In extreme cases the results are catastrophic! Overload situations happen to even the most experienced Riggers, even if each hanging point's load is calculated and the calculation falls within the limitations of the nominal hoist and truss capacity. The actual load distribution on the truss is still unpredictable and cannot be calculated, or even estimated without Load Cells. Solutions to ensuring a safe installation are real-time load monitoring and overload detection.
